A compelling fantasy-adventure for young adults

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of writing in this book, which features plenty of martial arts action. The futuristic story of young Qwan, separated from his family amidst the horrors of World War III, is both compelling and exciting, with timely themes of race and identity smouldering beneath the surface. A must read for young adults interested in action/adventure!
