Sick of marking? Get this book!

This book is awesome. I was dreading the quilting on my projects because of the marking problems. With the ideas in this book, you will never have to mark another quilt. It shows methods for using the backing of your quilt for quilting lines, something I never would have thought of.

Ideas Galore - even for those who think they aren't creative

This is a book which provides a host of fabulous ideas for quilting patterns - quilting patterns which don't require you to mark your quilt top (yippee!), fiddle around with graph paper or tracing paper (hallelujah!) and which allow you to be really creative even if you can't draw (unbelievable!) Furthermore, the technique can be used by everyone for every type of quilt: people who quilt by hand, people who quilt by machine, people who make patchwork quilts, people who applique. There are a lot of ideas in this book - and it gives you the confidence to experiment. The text has been written with the machine-quilter in mind (some discussion about technical issues which are irrelevant for hand quilters), but it seems to me that it would be just as useful and exciting for handquilters. And there are some samples of hand quilted projects in the book. No project patterns - but loads of full colour photos of completed quilts. A book which will change the way you quilt for ever!
