Legends

Legends of the West recreates the beauty of the great outdoors through the seemingly intricate animal patterns. Each pattern includes an optional native american symbol and the story behind the symbol. The book provides wonderfully easy patterns to help you create large animal quilts. I have made several of the quilts for myself and freinds. They have turned out beautiful. Zehner and Mosher present clear, concise instruction. They provide excellent diagrams. Howeever, there are several minor mistakes in the numbers, but once you begin to see the pattern come together, you will realize that there is a misprint. I highly recommend this book for all quilters.
