Quilt As You Go is a way of constructing a quilt sandwich using completed quilt blocks or rows, finished batting, and backing, and then quilting the completed block. After sewing the blocks together on the quilt top, the back seams are finished by hand, leaving you with a quilt top that is already quilted at the conclusion of the project. There are numerous techniques to Quilt As You Go, and each method results in a quilted top when the piecing is complete. Quilt as you go is a technique in which you construct BLOCKS and quilt them individually before joining the QUILTED blocks into a huge quilt with sashing.
