This collection was written over a three year period and is based on the Japanese understanding of living in 72 microseasons. This means that each of these poems was written within the microseason itself which is 4-5 days long. There are 24 larger seasons and each of those contains three poems.
Aleathia Drehmer spends a lot of time thinking up new challenges for herself when writing poetry, but mostly, you can find her gardening, making fire cider and herbal teas, and messing around with astrology.
