Indexed by Bible reference and Theme.
I was pretty happy with this book. I was looking for something that wasn't just a bunch of little stories with a quick lesson at the end for my Sunday School. This book allows me to come up with something different and it is quick, like the title says. The only thing about it is that every one has props to use, so you have to adjust the sermons if you don't want or don't have the props. It does seem to be pretty Biblically-accurate.
When Jesus Moved to Heaven, Was He Sad that He Had to Leave His Friends?

This is a great resource for anyone teaching Children's Church or giving a quick little "Children's Sermon." The questions are ones that kids really do ask and want to know the answers to (and adults want to know the answers too -- but many of us are never going to admit that we don't already know). The supplies that you need are simple and easy to obtain. The "script" is already written for you. As for it sounding a little "cheesy" we have to remember who the real audience is -- the kids. If you have more time to fill this is a great start and you can take any of the "sermons" and make them longer. I think that these are messages that your kids will remember because they use things to experience the sermon rather than just listen to it. This book is really designed more for a Children's Church time when the kids can talk and share with each other and do things rather than just coming up to the front of a church for a quick message and then returning to their seats. Great resource for any church with kids! Especially if you want the kids to enjoy learning about God.
Good for those who just need ideas...

This book is helpful, though it is rather cheesy in many of the lessons. This is perfect for those who are just looking for ideas, the sparks to get their minds going down the right track, because following their lessons to the letter leaves the ideas either over simplified or just unclear. If you are looking for a total lesson outline that is good and relevant, keep looking. If you are looking for something to give you ideas that you can then beef up on your own to make them the best they can be, then this may be for you.
Dogs are Angels on Earth

Of course dogs will be in Heaven as they have pure souls. As the owner of a pet assisted therapy dog who attends a church service weekly -- we have been assured that dogs are Angels on Earth and will meet us in Heaven -- this books is a lovely introduction for children to the thought process.
