Everything you ever wanted to know about CBs from 1962-1975

I just missed the era where, if you wanted two channels, you only had to move the antenna from horizontal to vertical.
I did, however, dive in at the 23-channel era. However, I stopped before more channels were added. With that fantastic range-extended sideband. I was able to reach home from work and talk in the car on the way. I had a friend who bought the same base station but was a tad out of range.
Back to the book:
This is a revised edition of 101 questions and answers about CB operations. You can learn a lot about the mechanics, operations, protocols, etc. that the casual user today does not need or has overlooked.
There are some spiffy black-and-white pictures of equipment and people from that time. However, they look more like 50’s people to me.
There is a copy of the FCC Form 400 application for radio station authorization. Form 505 applications for class C or D citizen’s radio station license.
I could go on forever, but I suggest you add this to your library as it may come in handy one day.
