Book Summary:The Question Box sits on the corner of Howard's desk. It looks a lot different than the day Howard and Jacob found it tucked away in a plastic box at their Poppy's house. Howard and Jacob stare down at it knowing that it is waiting for them to ask it a question. They are hesitant to ask it anything after all that the box has put them through so far. When they first found the Question Box and figured out that it could answer questions, it was exciting and mysterious. There was so much they wanted to ask the box, but the excitement quickly wore off as they faced the different challenges from the box. They both have wondered if the box is driven by good or evil? They are leaning toward evil, but each time they come to the determination that the box is evil, something good happens as a result of the bad things. No matter if the box is good or evil, they know that they have no choice but to continue to ask questions until the box decides they are done. If they are ever to be rid of the box they must trudge forward through the pain and struggles that await them. "I wish we would have never found this stupid box nor asked it any questions." Jacob says to Howard as Howard places his hands on the lid of the box to ask the next question...
