The stories behind the Indiana Jones version of archaeology.

This book was chosen as the primary text for a class I took while earning my degree in Archaeology. Each chapter relates a classic tale of early archaeological adventure and discovery. Entertaining, fast-paced, and often hilarious I really enjoyed this book. My only criticism was that it did little in the way of teaching about archaeological methods or issues. I would definitely recommend it for someone interested in the lighter side of archaeological history.
