A nine year old girl, Alice broke her leg playing soccer. She cannot control her mean words to her parents. But Her mothers best friend moves back home. But Alice doesn't know her mothers friend has a daughter of Alice's age and when she meets Jenny. Alice is completely at odds of this child with only half of a leg which she lost to cancer. Jenny tells Alice about the QUEENS WINDOW and how she got through her own troubles. Alice tells Jenny to call her Cinnamon that is what her friends call her. Jenny turns Cinnamon's life in a new direction when she tells her a fairy tale of what happened to her when she went through the Queens Window and met some very different animals whom talked and showed her how wonderful life can be when your not so bitter about life. These two girls became best friends, when life became hard for one of them, the other friend was there for support.
