The More You Cry, the Less You Have to Pee.

People with no sense of history will have no idea of Gertrude’s involvement in slicing up the new Middle East. People with a sense of history will find the film a tad superficial and lacking detail. Remember, this is a movie, so it still needs all the elements of a movie and not a documentary, which is also available. “Letters from Baghdad” (2016). If you do not have time to read about Gertrude, this movie is a pretty good overview. There may be a few exaggerations, and because of the short presentation of the movie, some of your favorite parts of her life may be left out. However, this is a movie, and a very well put-together movie with great visuals and music. As a standalone film, I found it quite informative and well played.
