Fantastic cast (John Saxon, Basil Rathbone, Judi Meredith, and Dennis Hopper). This formula program uses a standard threat that you have seen from the old 50's sci-fi, and even pops up now and then today. Check out the 1990 technology, such as a reel-to-reel tape recorder, which many of today's viewers have never seen. If you only had $50,000 to make a movie, you would bring your home tape recorder also.
In the year 1990, a technically advanced society had crash-landed on Mars just before our plans to go there. We sped up the process to see if we could help the survivors. I will not go into details; however, at one point, the female alien (Florence Marly) looks up and finds that the female astronaut owns three male food containers, and she is green with envy. What great threat can this pose to Earth? Worse still, she seems to have her eye on a young Dennis Hopper.
