Queen City is a sassy, iconoclastic and timely epic; a fun-fill satire of manners, politics, mythologies, social conventions; and it is totally and casually gay. Familiar politicians and their evil benefactors, religion, science, and more are objects of arresting merriment. There is, also, an infamous book from a distant planet pursued by many, including the Vatican. On the far side of the caverns is Cheyanne Mountain Strategic Air Command where Victoria and Lily discover a secret government plot to spy on the citizens of Queen City, using tiny bots disguised as mosquitos-a test in preparation for spying on world leaders and malcontents. Chaos ensues when Queen City becomes the victim of an earthquake that threatens to destroy the entire city. The Krotch brothers set up a fracking enterprise next to Lake Titicaca, adjacent to a psychic retreat called Puerto Nostradamus, whose owner can turn herself into a fox, and home to a gay satyr.
