It started with one mistake. Now it came down to whether there would be another. One mistake on the part of Dillan Miles, one missed detail, and millions of people would be terminated. Dillan Miles, Chief Scientist of OmniVirtual Corporation (OV), the world's single source of Virtual Reality, has a serious problem. His creation, OVNet, a perfected Virtual Reality realm in which the clients live their lives to their choosing has swept the world in a frenzy. OV monopolizes the industry and sent obsolete giants like Microsoft to early graves. The tidal swell of wealth into the corporation has most of the corporate executives slavering for more. For Dillan, however, there is a double-edged moral dilemma. One side of the blade- the software that has taken the human race to new heights killed his wife. Secondly, OVNet clients are addicted to Cyberspace. OV argues Cyberspace is the ultimate realm for individual human expression. Clients can be anyone they desire, do anything they can imagine. Mankind has reached a new era and OmniVirtual is there with a marketing plan to support the dream. But the Cyberspace multiverse as another new secret-a secret that Dillan must protect at all costs.
