The most frequently reported functional sign was the sensation of an intra-vaginal ball (89.5%). Urinary and digestive symptoms are also common. Sexual dysfunction is frequently associated with prolapse.Chapter 3: DiscussionOur work has confirmed the benefit of promontofixation in terms of quality of life and sexuality, according to 2 measurement tools: the Pelvic Floor Distress Inventory (PFDI 20) self-questionnaire and the Pelvic Organ Prolaps/Urinary Incontinence Sexual Questionnaire (PISQ-12).Conclusion: Promontofixation has proved its efficacy with a number of patients.
