you have no doubt read nog and were firmly put in your place by its ticklish mollasses toe nail sandwich. you loved it and you will love quake. i myself read it in a single sitting. were you paying attention to what i just now said? i read it in a single sitting! "couldnt put it down" in other words. if its so good, why doesnt oprah recomend it? i can hear you demanding an answer. to tell you the truth, its a little too bizzare for oprahs taste. but perhaps you like to drink a little cough syrup and walk around third world countries and swallow a handfull of dramamine and tell the peasents what you think ficticious animals think of them. perhaps. either way, read this book. you have nothing to lose. your priceless photos are all in the album on the shelf. your precious bus pass is in your wallet. single sitting. its not going to change your life the way nog did, but...
