Feng Shui geomancy was an ancient imperial geomancy practiced by ancient imperial court adviser to serve the Emperor.
Feng Shui originated from ancient imperial metaphysics known as 'Kan Yu Xue 堪輿學'.
'Kan堪' refer to 'law of cosmos天道' (which is the spirit of the Big Dipper北斗雄神 that established Heaven).
'Yu與' refer to 'law of Earthly nature地道 (which is the spirit of the big Dipper北斗雄神 that created Earth).
'Kan Yu Xue 堪輿學' is basically the astronomy study that correlate humans and the universe (the study of energy forces to harmonize individuals with the surrounding environment).
After the Ming era, folks simplified this study and called it simply as 'Feng Shui 風水' which is used till this day.
Presently, there are many school of 'Feng Shui', each Master develop their own 'specialty and technique' and form their own school of 'Feng Shui'.
(Note: Qi Men Dun Jia is NOT a separate school of 'Feng Shui'. It is a special science of its own).
Basically, there are two branch of 'Feng Shui' namely:
i) 'Yang' Feng Shui 陽宅風水 (that concern living human dwellings geomancy)
ii) 'Yin' Feng Shui陰宅風水 (that concern 'graves' geomancy).
In this book, we shall discuss the Qi Men Dun Jia Feng Shui divination concerning the 'Yang' Feng Shui

In Chapter 2, we shall discuss the general auspicious and/or ominous energies of each sector of a house or office (based on the time of occupation).
In Chapter 3, we shall discuss the general Feng Shui of Current Year 2025 house/office.
In Chapter 4, we look at a quick approach to determine the Feng Shui of a house.
