The other reviewer is wrong. Bracey, quite rightly, wants to compare apples to apples in education analyses, not apples to oranges. He is appalled, in a certain sense, by American public eduaction. He sets up a crucial opposition that any reader must pay attention to: and that opposition is in the Epilogue of his Setting the Record Straight. Read it and you may get straightened out about Bracye and his concerns...
