Many people have reading phobia's, I did right into adulthood, and poem-stories helped me to enjoy reading.
Puss is a Cat with a story to tell, of learning to trust and courage so swell. She learns how to love as she finds a new home, and a new situation with no need to roam. She's making new friends and she cries a few tears, but all in all, Puss learns to conquer her fears. You will fall in love with her with every page turned, so enjoy all the wonderful things that she's learned.
Fun filled poetry helps kids get over the very real fear of reading, which I believe is the number one block of learning. With a few challenging words this book will build your confidence and to help you read better.
This book deals with homelessness, adoption, and acceptance, among many other virtues we want to build into the lives of our little ones.
Puss the Cat is based on the real-life story of my cat, who we named "Puss in Boots" because her paws look like little white boots; and of course because Jim started calling her "Puss" right from the start. This is the first adventure of Puss the Cat, and how she got her name. Have fun getting to know her. I certainly did.
