All of the Justice books by Pamela Tracy

All three books are great, many technical details,Christian view points, and lots of action. Would like to see more of these type of stories by this author in the future.

Rosa Cagnalia knows that maintaining a low profile is the only thing keeping her alive. She can't believe she caught the attention of Officer Sam Packard. Not only is he relentless in following up on leads, but he's the former partner of Cliff Handley! Rosa's reappearance is about to set off a chain of events that will have her life spiraling out of control. After all, Rosa witnessed a murder before her disappearance... and now there are those who want her dead as well. Pamela Tracy expertly weaves together Christian themes with a phenomenal suspense story. Rosa's continued faith in God despite seemingly insurmountable odds is a true testament to the power of faith. In fact, she proves to be an example to Sam as he witnesses her steadfastness. Sam's dedication has slipped over the years, but Rosa's example really hits home with him. Pamela Tracy does a beautiful job at incorporating Sam's growth and path back to his Christian faith without the writing coming across as preachy. The suspense in PURSUIT OF JUSTICE is carefully crafted. While there were details I suspected, Pamela Tracy still managed a few surprises to keep things quite interesting. THE PRICE OF REDEMPTION follows up with events after PURSUIT OF JUSTICE and I highly recommend reading both books in order. PURSUIT OF JUSTICE is easily recommended. Great suspense!

More suspenseful than romantic, Pursuit of Justice will keep you on your toes as you experience the stress of being in danger with Rosa and Sam, who are trying to avoid being killed...all the while pursuing justice. This story has more details, plot points, twists, turns, herrings, and action than most suspense novels. It's not overly violent, but at the same time it's by no means a soft story. Plenty of action fills this novel, and up to the very last page the characters are exposing more lies and murders, and are running from danger! Reading Pursuit of Justice made me feel like I had stepped into the middle of a NYPD Blues episode. Personally, I like more romantic tension in a romantic suspense story, but the suspense piece was interesting enough that it made up for the lack in that area. Plus, the characters were unique, and given the intense pace of the story I think it would've been difficult to develop a believable romantic relationship. I also loved Rosa and Sam's interactions with Rosa's cat, Go Away. The humor was precious, right down to the heaved cat food on the leather seats.
