Great study!

Bought this book for use in a bible study. It was a great study and book. Anne can be humorous, as well. The book does seem to be a little repetitive, but it makes a point.

Pursuing More of Jesus

A companion book to "God's Story" by the same author. Great book to aid methods of Bible Study, and really tearing apart the Word of God.

Two Books With Same Title-Pursuing More of Jesus

Leading an online Bible Study of Pursuing More of Jesus by Anne Graham Lotz, I discovered two versions of this book published in 2009: this one by Thomas Nelson Press and a workbook By Lifeway. Both books have the same name and cover. The inductive Bible study workbook by Lifeway is about 100 pages; this book includes a different version of the Bible study at the end of the book. For a group study, you'll want the workbook and the DVD or audio sessions. For a personal study, this book contains some of the information presented in the DVD. The workbook is a four week Bible study and this book is a 12 chapter Bible study. While the Bible study is excellent, this particular book was difficult to read because of the printing style. Several pages of the book are printed in a zigzag pattern, making it confusing to read. I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars because the content and message are good. As mentioned, I have both books with the same title-Pursuing More of Jesus-and I prefer the Lifeway workbook over this book.
