Lord of the Snails
I was minding my own business (napping, eating... more napping), when I was approached with a mysterious case that would throw my world into chaos. A woman needs my help-her boyfriend was kidnapped and murdered, and she believes he orchestrated his own abduction (though not his own murder, obviously).
Sure, I'm not technically a licensed investigator-A) I lack opposable thumbs, B) No weapons allowed, and C) I can't even count my fees-but when a case calls, even a cat has to answer.
Meanwhile, Odelia is struggling with her upcoming wedding. The guest list keeps growing (eight hundred and counting ) and her tossing and turning at night has led to me and Dooley being kicked off the bed. Not exactly the glamorous life I had in mind, especially when Tex starts acting suspiciously around Marge. A marriage on the rocks, another starting off with a thud, and a murder mystery in between... just another week in the life of this snarky feline investigator
