About the Author Temidayo Olanipekun is an Engineer by background within the Energy Industry where she enjoys finding innovative ways to continue meeting global energy demand. She holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and earned a Master's degree in Business from the University of Houston. Over the years she has worked with top energy corporations including Occidental Petroleum, EP Energy, ConocoPhillips, and currently with ExxonMobil to tackle energy challenges across the globe. She has worked on multiple projects in the United States, Canada and Thailand. She contributes actively to scientific research and co-authored the 2011 US Geological Survey open file report on the 'Drilling Mud Weight Pressures and Wellbore Temperatures from 49 Regional Cross Sections of 967 Well Logs in Louisiana and Texas, Onshore Gulf of Mexico Basin'. Temidayo enjoys serving within the community and has had the pleasure of doing so through the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Society of Women Engineers, National Society of Black Engineers, United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement and many other organizations. She has a special passion for Mentorship and its impact on fostering a fulfilling and purposeful career.
