Sophie and Maya lead a happy, simple life in the city with their father. He gives them everything they could want and supports all their passions with an open heart. Sophie is a tender and sensitive girl. She likes dresses and bowknots, tea with marshmallows and painting watercolours. Maya, though very similar to her sister, is a year older, also very kind and responsive, but Maya is more cautious and prudent.
