Their journey takes them through the seven cities mentioned in the Bible's book of Revelation and describes how they daily worked to live out the teachings of scripture while being surrounded by people who faithfully worshiped hundreds of government-recognized gods. Those who would not accept those gods were, oddly enough, considered to be rebellious atheists.
