Purple Cage is a story about Thomas Haskel, a news journalist, who returns to his home town to report on the death of the late Mayor Nelson. When he arrives, he realizes that a lot has changed from the age of the buildings, to the emptiness of the streets, to the vast bright purple sky above his head. From there, Thomas explores his old childhood town to get to the bottom of what is causing the oddities within Snowbush.
