Pure players and the construction of political information

In this dissertation, we have studied the jagged relationship between the knights of the pen and political actors in the DRC. The ideological marking that emerges continues to perpetuate the image of a worrying Congolese press, "a press with an outstretched hand". At the base, we noted the precariousness of the Congolese online titles (in general) coupled with the lack of equipment and less qualified personnel. This state of affairs unfortunately leads the Congolese media to align themselves behind donors to quench their thirst and guarantee their survival. In this perspective, the construction of information becomes a game of negotiation in which journalists and politicians participate, who together define what the public needs to know. Deliberately, certain details are left out, journalists choose certain points to emphasize and propose an interpretation through which they orient the judgment of the opinion. The present study aimed to go beyond the generally alarming considerations of press-political relations to look at the editorial specificities of online media content.
