Pure Decline is an honest portrait of the anxiety and horror we all face as humans. The book weaves though many important questions as it dives into the truth and thought process of the author, a challenging look at the emotional state of someone who looks where others won't.
Though brief, this series of poems marks a sincere departure from his back catalog. Moving away from the stream of consciousness of "Hometown Blues" and "Imagine You Are Standing Fifty Feet Above the Pain", "Pure Decline" is the the emotional reality of whatever haunts you.
