Wonderful, believable characters!

I read this author's first book, Country Pride and Joy, and went looking for the sequel mentionned. It was just as great! The "lost boy" from Country Pride and Joy got to follow his dream of being in the music business. He left sleepy Punta Gorda, Florida, (a real town in Florida) and toured and did concerts--a very exciting life, but, like his brother says in this book, the life was killing him and his music. I read this while I was a tourist in the area and it enhanced my enjoyment of the area, trying to find all the places Trevor, Jarrett, Scott and other characters went locally. It's hard to believe these people aren't real. I kept looking for them in stores and on the streets.
