A Thriller

Ted Gragg captures your interest in the first sentence. At first the book appeared too wordy, but one realizes that the author's use of very descriptive text was to reveal a great deal about the characters' habits and motives. This is appropriate for writing about a wild animal. I found it interesting the way the plot unfolded and was revealed through the voice of all characters and the inner voice of the puma. The characters and conversations were so realistic that I felt I knew the characters.

An imaginative read

An imaginative read. The duality of the two subjects of the novel exposes nature in an aspect few have attempted. The author knows both his protagonists and weaves them into a plot full of surprises. Characters abound in the story and the descriptive narrative breathes life into the details. It is refreshing to see an author who has this breath of knowledge. If you are looking for a fast-moving tale that offers insight into both human and animal, this is the book for you.
