Villa de Leyva is considered a national monument since 1954, which has generated become a tourist center in the region, due to its history, heritage and cultural activities that are of great interest to the foreign population, which leads to be a highly visited and traveled site at different times of the year, this has generated that the local population feels alien to the various activities that has the municipality and is not integrated with the floating population. For this reason it is proposed the urban and architectural development through a public library that seeks to encourage to know about the history of the place and strengthen the culture integrating the residents of Villa de Leyva with the floating population, to finally improve the quality of life and strengthen the economy of the sector.
