The decrease in the effectiveness of a drug, while treating a disease, is termed as drug resistance. The resistance to antibiotics is generally observed in cases where the medication focuses a specific bacteria molecule. This issue is compounded if the antibiotics are used indiscriminately in livestock. The antibiotics in livestock can result in super-resistant bacteria.
