Between the adult and the child, there is the adolescent who experiences things differently. In clinical care, playful approaches are no longer effective as technical management tools for dealing with adolescents who are not yet ready for contact mediated exclusively through the verbal channel. During adolescence, it is common for adolescents not to seek psychotherapeutic treatment spontaneously, but to be referred by their carers or professionals. At this stage of development, their omnipotence, aversion to submission and dependence on an adult are marked. So how do you approach them technically?
