The objective of this research was to know the psychophysiological factors not yet considered as risk factors by the World Health Organization in non-communicable diseases. These psychophysiological factors were understood for their study from their psychoneuroimmunoendocrinology in patients with endocrine and metabolic alterations from an integrative conception of the individual as a mind-body-environment-emotions unit. The results showed stressors associated with sleep, nutrition, lack of practice of relaxation and exercise techniques, cognitive schemas, psychoemotional factors in childhood, work, family and physical-environment, together with lack of motivation and dissatisfaction in the meaning or purpose of life and lack of recreational activities. Taking these results into account will make it possible to prevent non-communicable diseases, improve the quality of life, well-being and reduce the associated complications.
