Objective: to determine the relationship between scientific attitudes and research skills in undergraduate students of a private university in northern Lima. Methodology: it was based on a quantitative, basic-correlational approach, non-experimental, cross-sectional design, with a sample of 238 university students, to whom two questionnaires referring to the variables studied were applied and then processed by means of the SPSS IBM version 26.0 program. The most outstanding results were that 42% of the students have a scientific attitude at the medium level and 43.7% of them have a medium level of scientific skills.It was also found that there is a significant positive Spearman correlation of p = 0.823 between scientific attitudes and the epistemological dimension. Similarly, a significant positive Spearman correlation of p = 0.891 was found between scientific attitudes and the problematization dimension. In conclusion: a significant and high relationship was evidenced between the variables studied, according to Spearman's correlation coefficient.
