Illustrated autobiographical novel based on the mysterious case of the Psychographies of Isaura Sanchez. As a teenager, Sanchez makes a series of drawings via unconscious automatic flow of her hand. At age seventeen, she notices that these drawings, which had no apparent significance, might reflect precognitions and represent events before they occurred. She enrolls at the university and pursues Art studies where she faces the challenge of defining her manner of artistic expression and her vocation: Is this Art? Over the next three decades, Sanchez undergoes an internal struggle to discern the reality or unreality of the predictive phenomenon that never ceases to manifest itself in her drawings. At the same time, she has to confront the barriers to making her experiences known publicly due to the discredit and skepticism of the academic community and her family and friends. Finally, as an act of liberation, Sanchez decides to reveal the meaning of several figures and symbols that have had a great impact on her life, by using the original drawings, of noteworthy aesthetic value, and clear, poetic and humorous prose that gently captures the reader.
