Psychiatric disorders affect the mental health of a person and thereby causes mood swings, change in the behaviour, sleeping disorders further leading to anxiety, depression and hallucination.The dopamine and serotonin secretion plays a major role in depression.The dopamine and serotonin must be balanced appropriately, if any changes in these neurotransmitters occur, that leads to psychariatic disorders such as Parkinson's disease, schizoprenia. Dopamine and serotonin are also present in gut and leads to digestion process.
