TV Series 2006–2014. 121 episodes. Over 100 cameos. As a child, Shawn is trained by Henry Spencer (Corbin Bernsen), his Policeman father, to notice all the periphery down to the minutest details in any situation. Shawn Spenser (James Roday Rodriguez) with his sidekick Burton Guster (Dulé Hill), always wanted their own business and finally got the opportunity by using his psychic (yeh sure) powers to help the police solve problems. We get to see what Shawn sees and go along for the ride. Lots of fun surprises and banter . One fun thing is watching Timothy Omundson as Carlton Lassiter, the police detective, suspect Shawn of chicanery, and tries to figure out how Shawn does it. He is upstaged and foiled every time.
