Gabe and his friends are foster kids, and there isn't anything in the world that makes them feel all too special about it. Using their newfound skills, and with the help of a gifted young girl, they escape. But just when they think life could be normal again, they realize that they aren't out of harm's way, and neither is the rest of humanity, as Psi-Gen sends their androids out to retrieve them.
