Thought-provoking journal with elegant design

After reading the Psalms for several years, this journal made me slow down and THINK. It is beautiful in design, filled with verses and emphases that truly pulled me closer to God's revelation of Himself. What a joy! I looked forward to every day when I could experience writing about the verses.

Good...but

Ok so, This is a really nice journal with a verse from psalms on every opposite page. So needless to say there is not much room for writing anything at all. If you were intending to use this as a every day journal like I was I wouldn't reccommend it. If you're not and just want to use it as an inspirational pad of paper, it's really nice.

Nice Journal!

I purchased this as another Christmas gift. The cover is even more beautiful when you get the journal, almost iridescent. There isn't a lot of room to write in the journal, but the Psalm is on the left-hand side and there is space to write a reflection on the Psalm on the right-hand side. It really is a beautiful journal.

this is a beautiful, hardback journal with such attention to detail in the design and feel of the paper. this journal is for someone who likes to meditate on one Bible passage at a time and just take it very slowly. for me, i'll read the bible verses on the left side and then journal on the right side, writing my thoughts, a short prayer, or a song. this journal is not for someone who reads a lot of Bible in one sitting and then journals on it. moleskine journals would be good for that form of journaling. this journal would be a good gift for someone who has a thoughtful, gentle heart and is a poet or songwriter. it's really good for teens.
