Psalm 119: Your Word is a Lamp Unto My Feet

One of the universal goals of every person is to be happy. The only people who don't want to be happy are abnormal people. So how do we acquire a truly blessed or happy life? Some people pursue money thinking the more money they have the happier they will be. Some people want to succeed in their work and be respected for it. Others desire to have many friends and good times. And some people long for someone to love them. All of these things--money, success, friends and love are good things. But without God's grace and wisdom in our lives none of these things will bring true happiness. Here is the reason why; life is full of unexpected trials and circumstances that can steal away our happiness and joy. But the Bible says that every good and perfect gift comes from God. Therefore we need to seek God and know Him and we do that first and foremost through His written Word. So let's begin our journey into Psalm 119.
