Henry is in tenth grade and he writes something for his class. This piece which he writes is so amazing that he gains fame at his school, gains other widespread recognition, and is eventually contacted by a secret society of little people called "pruden." These pruden believe a strange, young man will go on a shooting spree, and they ask Henry to use his prowess with words to stop him. Henry takes the job, although he is unsure about it from the start. The job leads to one disturbing thing to the next, and poor Henry is involved in it all. A dark story of mystery and fright.
