Providing a Web-Based Tutoring Platform For Senior Secondary Schools in Hausa Language

Project Report from the year 2021 in the subject Didactics - E-Learning, grade: 4.50, University of Nigeria (YUSUF MAITAMA SULE UNIVERSITY KANO), course: Computer Science, language: English, abstract: The aim of this project is to develop a tutoring platform for Hausa students in grades 4 to 6, providing them with audio, video and text output in Hausa Language together with mentoring sessions and access to previous SSCE and jamb past questions. The platform will also achieve the following sets of objectives: To study the existing literature on E-Learning System, to develop an E-Learning System (web-based) for online tutoring and mentoring and to test the software for its applicability and performance. This system is significant to teachers, parents and students. To teachers, this system would serve as an additional tutoring and mentoring platform for extra lessons after school hours. To parents, this system would suffice to spending more money on hiring a tutor for extra-lessons at home. To students, this system would hasten and increase their level of understanding and curiosity and provide them with relevant resource materials suchas past questions.
