A great gift for any teenager any time.

I highly recommend this book. The problems teens face are universal and timeless. Earles points out it may be tough for parents to move from being in charge to being advisers. When a baby robin reaches a certain stage, its mother pushes it out of the nest, and the robin learns how to fly. Besides parents a teen should maintain a round table of reliable advisors-their minister, a close friend, someone with outstanding discernment and someone in their field of interest. "For lack of guidance a nation falls, but many advisers make victory sure" (Proverbs 11.14 NIV).
