In Word Sudoku, each puzzle has a different set of symbols-the letters in a word or phrase. The puzzles are a little bit harder than classic Sudoku because you have to learn the allowable symbols all over again with each new puzzle.
This book takes the idea of using words a bit further, using the letters in the Word Sudoku puzzles to spell out a quote-in this collection, common proverbs you'll likely recognize.
And we don't stick to just 99 puzzles. You'll start by quickly solving easy 44 and 66 puzzles. In the middle, you'll be briefly at odds with 88s. And near the end, you'll undoubtedly express your frustration with fiendish 55s and 77s. They're hard
Puzzle rules are standard: 4x4: Each row, column and 2x2 square contains the letters in the word or phrase exactly once
5x5: Each row, column and enclosed shape contains the letters in the word or phrase exactly once
6x6: Each row, column and 2x3 rectangle contains the letters in the word or phrase exactly once
7x7: Each row, column and enclosed shape contains the letters in the word or phrase exactly once
8x8: Each row, column and 2x4 rectangle contains the letters in the word or phrase exactly once
9x9: Each row, column and 3x3 square contains the letters in the word or phrase exactly once
Finally, copy the circled letters in each Word Sudoku puzzle to the corresponding numbered cells in the accompanying quote grid to spell out the proverb.
