Lmao!!! 😂😂😂😂😂

Nevermind the fact that Christians stole all their holidays and everything else from pagans! Religious fanatics crack me up! Funny that I stumbled upon this while shopping for witchy books for my child! I love it! I will happily stick with and teach my baby the path of a loving, gentle goddess over a harsh and vindictive God any day! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤

An honest, open-minded, well documented look into the occult. A must read

Steve Russo' scholarly approach to the study of Wicca compares the inconsistencies of this new age religion to the timeless truths of the Bible. Is Wicca dangerously deceptive or just an innocent pursuit? Let this open-minded, honest approach help you make an informed decision. This is a must-read for every parent who has a teenager.

Important reading

We parents will, as a first reaction, deny that our children would have anything to do with witchcraft. However, the facts are that Wicca, a form of witchcraft is on the rise in our high schools. Author Steve Russo says that it is the fastest growing religion among high school and college students and, yes, it is even found in teens that attend church. In Wicca, there is no one right way to practice, worship or believe. The witch is free to choose what works best for them. It promises empowerment and the ability to control one's own destiny. Power may be derived from stones, crystals, colors, herbs, symbols and figurines, to name a few "power" sources. This self-styled empowerment is incredibly enticing. Wicca seems to be non-threatening and members subscribe to `do no harm', so why should we protect our teens from it? It appears to me that our children are being pulled away from the Truth and led down a path of lies. Teens are giving up the incredible resurrection power that is available through Jesus Christ in trade for the limited power coming from within themselves and from inanimate objects. Russo covers everything to help you become an informed parent - the warning signs, the basics of witchcraft and its appeal, the language used, the gods, goddesses and symbols. He sites Biblical guidelines and warning against such behavior and goes on to help the parent talk to their teen about Wicca and to help guide them to the Truth of the Christian belief and the salvation message while letting the teen make their own decision. I found it very enlightening and useful. Protecting Your Teen From Today's Witchcraft is a book that every parent should read and then read it again, discussing it with their teenagers.

A Must Have, Must Read!

Steve Russo, author of Protecting Your Teen From Today's Witchcraft: A Parents Guide to Confronting Wicca and the Occult, writes a comprehensive manual for anyone, not just parents, who is concerned with the increase of witchcraft in society. Russo says teenagers are searching for their own, not their parents' spiritual answers, and the danger teens face is that the occult and Wicca are "popping up everywhere." Television programs, cartoons, movies, music, books and PC games are fraught with its influence so it is difficult to fight against because it seeps into all aspects of our personal lives. People begin to believe it is innocent fun. Russo defines Wicca beliefs, discusses the reasons for its appeal and provides strategies to help protect teens. He describes dangerous activities, such as reading horoscopes, playing with an Ouija board, having your palm read, participating in a séance or visiting a psychic, as activities people participate in that crack open the door to darkness. Most importantly Russo gives the reader warning signs to recognize if someone is involved in Wicca and is practicing witchcraft. The back of the book provides a wealth of information. There is a reference guide to compare witchcraft with Christianity, a glossary of Wicca/Witchcraft terms, holidays and symbols to better recognize a situation should it arise. Armchair Interviews suggests this is a must-have, must-read reference manual.
