Proskomedia Departed

My hope in creating this book is that those listed here will be commemorated at the Proskomedia for those who have Fallen Asleep (Proskomedia for the Departed). As such, the names have been formatted so that they can be commemorated easily at the Proskomedia. For this reason, as a general rule, the names begin with their formal title, if applicable, and then only the first name (as is preferred when commemorating at the Proskomedia). The names have been taken and then formatted for this book entirely from online sources all by me, the anonymous author. It is one point five spaced 12 point Atkinson Hyperlegible Next font. Some people are missing from this book and there are also repeats of the names of the same people in this book as well. In a way, this is a commemorative necrology. Some of those named here are currently still alive in September 2025 when this book was published, as I intended to publish it much later. Nevertheless, they are included, with my hope being that future generations will commemorate them as departed. People who are not Eastern Orthodox Christians cannot be commemorated at the Proskomedia for the Departed and living people cannot be commemorated at the Proskomedia for those who have Fallen Asleep, rather, they are commemorated at the Proskomedia for the Living. Praying for the living is encouraged. I ask everyone who reads this to not add names of people that that have died that are not Eastern Orthodox Christians for commemoration at the Proskomedia for those who have Fallen Asleep. Praying for those who have died that are not Eastern Orthodox Christian is actually greatly encouraged by the Church, but only in a private setting - not in a liturgical service such as a Memorial Service (Panikhida or Parastasis). Praying an Akathist or Canon or The Prayer Rule of the Mother of God by Saint Seraphim of Sarov or the Rule of Saint Pachomius the Great or on a prayer rope, for example, is welcome. This book is in the public domain.
