What is fivefold Ministry? In this book, "Prophets In Fivefold Ministry" we will unfold many things to you. We will walk you through an understanding of, not only your office as a prophet but also the other four offices (ministry gifts). Many of your frustrations have come as a result of that ministry gift, of which you seem to not be aware. When we talk about ministry gifts, we are not necessarily talking about spiritual gifts (first Corinthians 12), or motivational gifts (Romans 12), but we are talking about ministry gifts (Ephesians 4). It can also be recognized as the plurality of ministry. God didn't intend for there to be only one ministry gift that would dominate the direction of the church. Yes, there is one visionary of the church, but different ministry gifts that bring the church to a place of perfection, or completeness. There are five ministry gifts, which include: *Apostles Who Govern *Prophets Who Guide *Evangelists Who Gather *Pastors Who Guard *Teachers Who Ground Those five ministries gifts, everyone in the family if God stems out of it, or are kin to one of them. It's important that you understand out of which stream, or arm you're to function. Not knowing why we exist, that could be one our greatest frustrations - To identify why we exist, we must go back to the root of things. What did Jesus do? Jesus, in Luke 4:18 found his place in the word of God and used it as a guiding force for his life focus. Once we identify what God did in creating us, then we'll come closer to understanding what our purpose is, and why we exist. Consider what God said to Jeremiah:"Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."Jeremiah 1:5 Amplified Bible Like Jeremiah, God established his purpose beforehand; Jeremiah also identified in which stream he would exist. Not everyone is called an Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, or Teacher, but you do exist out of one of those streams. From that stream, God starts to download gifts to you and for your use. That being said, it is through that gift you are going to operate. You are not going to operate outside of the gift you have been given-operating within the gift is what purpose looks like to you.
