I have written this book because of the present, urgent times we are now living in, with the wars in the middle-east, particularly Israel and the surrounding nations. The bible describes what is happening in the world - from earth quakes, volcanic eruptions, wars, pestilence, famine, and the surrounding of God's people Israel - as the beginning of the end time and Jesus' return. The Lord exhorts us to be always vigilant, watchful, alert, and understand the signs of the times pointing to the end of the age and his final return. We are going to be looking at the prophetic scriptures foretelling Jesus' coming into the world, his ministry, death, resurrection, salvation through the new covenant in his blood, and his second coming. We will also be looking at other wonderful scriptures that encourage our faith according to Jesus' provision and eternal life for us, his people.

Jesus Christ is described in the Bible as a stumbling block to both Jews and Gentiles There has always been those Jews who believed in Jesus as the Messiah, while others could not accept this. Similarly, there are Gentiles who have faith to believe and others not. Read: 1 Corinthians 1:21-25; 1 Peter 2:6-9. Also, we understand that Jesus is God, for the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are One.

As with all the books in this series, the many bible references provided are important to read, both, in the context of the commentary and to individually hear from God, having been carefully and prayerfully researched. Prayerfully reading and receiving God's divine word is a deeply rewarding experience, helping us to grow in the Lord and know him more and more.
