Promises Made, Promises Broken, Promises Kept

By Mark Steven Shaw

Promises Made, Promises Broken, Promises Kept

A promise made in love. A lifetime spent keeping it.

In this unforgettable true story, Mark Shaw takes readers from the lakes and forests of northern Minnesota to the remote wilderness of Ontario, where adventure, hardship, and extraordinary experiences reshape the course of his life. Through devastating loss, unexplained events, legal battles, serious injury and unwavering devotion to family, one promise remains at the center of it all.

More than a memoir, this is a story of resilience, faith, courage, and the enduring power of keeping your word-even when the cost is greater than you ever imagined.

For readers who enjoy inspirational memoirs, true wilderness adventures, and deeply personal stories of perseverance, Promises Made, Promises Broken, Promises Kept is a powerful reminder that our greatest legacy is not found in what we achieve, but in the promises we choose to keep.
